Mobile RV Tech Services is based in East Tawas, Michigan, serving Iosco county and areas within 20 miles from our location between April 15 - December 15. Click here for outside coverage options if you are not located in our service area.

Main Service Area
$175 per hour
Scheduled service calls in Iosco county and areas within 20 miles from our location in East Tawas, Michigan. To optimize efficiency and serve more customers, we group appointments by location and prioritize those with safety-related needs first. Appointments are typically booked 0-1 week in advance for our immediate service area (up to 5 miles) and 0-2 weeks out for calls in our main service area (6-20 miles) and throughout Iosco County.
There is a one-hour minimum charge for service calls on our first visit. Additional time is billed in 15-minute increments. Additional cost for parts and supplies needed to complete service call.
Extended Service Area
$225 per hour
Scheduled service calls located 21-45 miles from our location in East Tawas, Michigan in Alcona, Arenac and Ogemaw counties. To prioritize our existing customers, we may not be able to accept new clients in our extended service area. To optimize efficiency and serve more customers, we group appointments by location. Appointments are typically booked 3-4 weeks out.
There is a one-hour minimum charge for service calls on our first visit. Additional time is billed in 15-minute increments. Additional cost for parts and supplies needed to complete service call.
Emergency Service
$250 per hour
If you have an urgent need for an appointment outside our normal business hours of 10am–8pm, or cannot wait to be scheduled, same-day or next-day service may be available depending on availability and whether we can rearrange existing jobs. Same-day availability does not automatically mean emergency service rates apply. We leave room in our schedule for same-day calls within our immediate service area when possible.

There is a one-hour minimum charge for our first visit. Additional time is billed at $250/hr., in 15-minute increments. A $250 deposit and service call mileage fee will be prepaid over the phone. Additional cost for parts and supplies needed to complete service call.
Phone/Administation Assistance
$100 per hour
If a service call requires additional assistance with phone calls, research, requested paperwork related to warranty companies, insurance claims, or special parts orders, time will be billed in 15-minute intervals. Depending on the scope of the request, prepayment may be required.
Warranty Work
$190 per hour
We provide warranty repair services for manufacturers, extended service contracts, and customer-requested warranty work, which includes an administration fee to process the claim. There is a one-hour minimum charge per visit, with any additional time billed in 15-minute increments.

We come to you! Our service calls include a mileage fee that is determined by the distance between our location (GPS Big Boy in East Tawas) and yours. You'll receive a discounted mileage rate if we have multiple service calls booked in the same campground.
To be cost effective, all service call appointments over 20 miles in our extended service area, are grouped together.

21+ Miles (Grouped Appt.): $75 + additional $2 per mile
Ex: 40 miles, grouped appointment is $75+$40 =$115
21+ Miles (Individual Appt.): $75 + additional $2 per mile + $1.67 per minute drive time one-way
Ex: 40 miles, 50 minutes, single appointment is $75+$40+$83.50 = $198.50
What to Expect

Make an appointment by calling (989) 820-7373 or request an appointment using our online booking. We'll call you back within 24 hours; it's usually within 30 minutes to 3 hours, in-between our service call appointments.

We'll gather your information, do some basic diagnostics and give you a quote over the phone.

You'll receive a text confirmation for your scheduled appointment, when we are en route and when your service call is completed.

You'll receive a digital invoice and payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, debit or credit.
